Welcome to the PRQHBA website!
The Powder River Quarter Horse Breeders have put on a sale and futurity competition for over 30 years. We are an established group of quarter horse producers located in and around southeastern Montana. Our horse sale and futurity competition are held annually the first weekend in September.
2012 Date: September 1st & 2nd, 2012
One of the major attractions to our futurity is the $10,000 plus in prizes and money that goes out to junior and adult exhibitors. ONLY horses purchased through this sale and past sales or through the stallion service auction are eligible to compete in futurity competitions. The 2011 catalog is online. You can view past consignments there. Our online catalog is usually up by July 15th of each year for the upcoming sale. We have a stallion auction annually and the 2012 stallions will be posted in February.

This is a production sale from some of the areas top breeders. We have been going strong for over 30 years and the tradition continues!!! We'll offer you consistency and we have built our sale on that.
If you are buying to compete in the futurities, feel confident in their structure and indicated payouts! If you are looking at buying horses from breeders who back their products, you'll find that here too.
