Entry Fee - $100 (1/2 must be paid in advance with balance due by August 30th).  Click here for entry form.

Events are open to two and three year old colts and fillies that were purchased as weanlings or yearlings through the PRQHBA Sale and those horses resulting from breeding purchased from the PRQHBA Stallion Service Auction.  All two and three year olds will be shown together - there is no split between fillies, geldings and studs.  There are three classes in this event and all horses must compete in all three classes.  The classes are:

1. Halter Class
2. Western Pleasure
3. Reining Class

Halter and Western Pleasure will be judged in accordance with the AQHA Handbook.  The Reining Class is judged on the ability of the horse and rider to find and maintain all three gaits, their ability to change leads appropriately and the rider's control of the horse.  Click here for the reining pattern.  If a horse wins this event as a two year old, it is not eligible to compete again as a three year old.
