Grue Ranch is a cow/calf operation and we do all of our cattle work horseback.  The ranch has a lot of variation in our country and we have to have good feet and legs and a stride that won't make riding all day miserable.  Structural correctness (halter conformation), versatility and speed with good dispositions is our main criteria.  We choose our genetics as if we will use them ourselves.  We also have young children and that has to be factored in also.  FROST BEE LEO has a super pedigree that sports some of the major names in the industry.
